President & CEO
Oliver Moloney
Oliver Moloney is the Founder, President, and CEO of RailFire Consulting Inc., bringing more than two decades of combined experience in railway operations, emergency management, and fire service leadership. Oliver began his railway career in Toronto in 2005 with Canadian Pacific Railway, where he worked as a Conductor before advancing to Locomotive Engineer and later into Operations Management. Throughout his railway career, he developed extensive expertise in train operations, transportation safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, and incident response within complex rail environments. In 2018, Oliver transitioned to passenger rail operations with a national passenger rail carrier. His broad railway background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of both freight and passenger rail systems, as well as the unique emergency preparedness and response requirements associated with each.
Oliver has also served as a part-time firefighter since 2003. He currently holds the position of Chief Training Officer with the Parry Sound Fire Department, where he is responsible for firefighter training, professional development, and operational readiness. His fire service experience includes emergency response, incident command, hazardous materials awareness, and emergency planning. Oliver has also completed Ontario’s Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC) training and is an active member of the Town of Parry Sound Emergency Management Team.

Vice President, Operations & Incident Response
Mitch Sutherland
Mitch is a seasoned professional in the railway industry and emergency services, currently working as a Technical Training Instructor for a major Canadian Passenger Railway. In this role, he focuses on teaching and team leadership while utilizing his extensive experience in rail operations.
Prior to this position, he served as a Train Conductor, then Locomotive Engineer for Canadian National Railway. Mitch is also an Auxiliary Police A/Sergeant with the Greater Sudbury Police Service and serves as a Search & Rescue Director further demonstrating his dedication to community. He is also committed to ongoing professional development, holding several certifications, including Ice Rescue and Search Manager certification from the Greater Sudbury Police Service.

Vice President, Finance & Strategy
Dan Siddall
Dan brings a strong combination of operational and managerial expertise to our team, with extensive experience across transportation and service management. Dan has over 15 years of experience in the rail industry and is a Qualified Locomotive Engineer. His background in the industry started at Canadian National Railway, including roles as a Yard Foreman, Freight Train Conductor, and Locomotive Engineer qualified in the handling of dangerous goods.
Before joining the railway, Dan worked in the marine industry where he attained Marine Firefighting & First Aid qualifications. His background also includes five years at McDonald's Canada working in both Training and Logistics departments. In addition to his primary role, Dan contributes his strategic expertise to various transportation and real estate boards.

Vice President, Regulatory Compliance
Nathan Jeffery
Since 2017, Nathan has served as a Police Constable, where he has completed training in Frontline Supervision, Major Events Management, and Scenes of Crime Officer duties.
Prior to this, he served with the Town of Parry Sound Fire Department from 2009 to 2022, retiring as a Lieutenant. During his tenure, Nathan earned several certifications, including Incident Management System (IMS) Levels 100, 200, and 300, Hazardous Materials (Operations Level), and Joint Occupational Health and Safety Certification (JHSC). Additionally, he is trained as a Search and Rescue Coordinator and gained valuable experience in the transportation industry, working for three years as a Freight Train Conductor for Canadian Pacific Railway.

Director, Logistics & Planning
Amanda Johnson
Amanda Johnson brings more than 15 years of hands-on railway experience and operational expertise to the organization. She began her railway career with Alstom, where she spent seven years progressing from Conductor to Locomotive Engineer. She then continued her career with a National Passenger Railway Carrier, where she has served as a Locomotive Engineer for the past eight years. Throughout her career, Amanda has developed an extensive understanding of railway operations, transportation logistics, regulatory compliance, operating rules, and safety policies.
Her broad operational background, combined with her practical field experience, provides RailFire Response with valuable insight into the complexities of railway incident response and recovery planning. Amanda's expertise in railway procedures, operational coordination, and strategic planning will play a key role in supporting the company's commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and effective emergency response services across the rail industry.

Director, Emergency Management
Mackenzie Henry
Mackenzie Henry currently works within the Ontario Public Service in fire and emergency services and brings nearly 10 years of experience supporting emergency management, public safety, and community resilience across Ontario. Previously, she served as an Emergency Management Field Officer with Emergency Management Ontario. In that role, she supported annual compliance under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (EMCPA), developed and evaluated emergency exercises, and provided planning support, pre-response guidance, and Incident Management System (IMS) and emergency management training to municipalities, First Nations, ministries, and stakeholders.
Mackenzie is also a former volunteer firefighter, having served her community with the Sundridge-Strong Fire Department for nearly five years. She currently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of Directors for Camp Molly, an initiative dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women to pursue careers in firefighting, emergency services, and public safety. Mackenzie is committed to building respectful relationships with First Nation communities, prioritizing listening, learning, and collaborating to support emergency management that reflects local knowledge, priorities, and culture.

Incident Management Officer & Hazmat Instructor
Jason Paul
Jason Paul is a seasoned emergency management and response professional with over two decades of experience in fire services, hazardous materials operations, and technical rescue and emergency medical services. As a Captain with the Ottawa Fire Service, Jason leads urban fire station operations, commanding multiple apparatus and crews while specializing in hazardous materials, CBRNE and urban search and rescue. His leadership extends to serving as a Hazmat Duty Officer, Technical Advisor, and senior instructor within the OFS Hazmat and CBRNE Provincial Response Team.
Beyond his municipal role, Jason was the Emergency Management Program Coordinator for St. John Ambulance in Ottawa, where he spearheaded the development of nationally deployable emergency response teams and contributed to the organization's strategic growth in emergency preparedness. His dedication to service was recognized with a promotion to Officer Rank in the Order of St. John.
He also serves as the Hazmat Lead for Ontario Task Force 4, a provincial Urban Search and Rescue team, overseeing hazmat operations and training for complex technical rescue missions.

Director, Strategic Engagement
Jason Jongen
Jason Jongen is a career firefighter, proud father, and long-time community leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the fire service. He began his firefighting journey in 1996 as a volunteer firefighter, a role that sparked a lifelong commitment to public safety and serving others. Today, he is a Deputy Platoon Chief with the Department of National Defence Fire Service, where he helps guide daily operations, support frontline crews, and uphold the highest standards of emergency response.
Throughout his career, Jason has gained extensive hands-on experience in structural firefighting, emergency operations, and high-risk incident response. As a certified Hazardous Materials Technician, he brings advanced training and professionalism to complex situations requiring technical expertise and calm, steady leadership.
Beyond his role in the fire service, Jason is known for his passion for railway operations and heritage, a personal interest that inspired several of his community-minded projects. He is the founder of Side Tracked in Muskoka, a one-of-a-kind caboose lodging experience, and the creator of Firehouse 343, a firefighter-themed concept dedicated to honouring the firefighting community and sharing its stories with the public.

Certified Fire Investigator
Tim Rochette
Tim Rochette is a certified fire investigator located just outside North Bay, Ontario. With more than 36 years of investigative experience, including 31 years in law enforcement and an additional five years of specialized fire investigation experience with the Office of the Fire Marshal. Tim brings an extensive depth of knowledge, training, and practical experience to every investigation.
Tim’s extensive investigative background, combined with his specialized training and continued commitment to the fire investigation profession, allows him to provide thorough and reliable investigative findings. His commitment to ongoing education ensures that his investigative practices remain current and consistent with industry standards.
In addition to fire and explosion investigations, Tim offers drone and aerial photography services, wildland fire investigation capabilities, and comprehensive case review services.
